The journey here..

This shop has a long journey behind it. In 2010, it started with an online store together with the sister. We sold a lot in industrial style, which was so in at the time.. we bought large workshop cabinets we found in some old closed down car workshop and sold them in a flash as soon as the online store opened. Had a bloody tooth and went around, bought industrial chairs from old lodgings, French industrial lamps from Suedeco, etc., etc. Rooted in barns and found broken furniture that we gave a second life.. Renovated and painted. We had fun! It went on like that for about two years. Then reality caught up. Too much work without being able to live on it. We went back to our old jobs, gave up..

Then some time passed and then our mother came up with the good idea that we could sell from her outbuilding. Mother was retired and could stand in the shop, she said if we could take care of it behind. So it happened. A summer shop in Sikhall on the way down to the beach and oh what a turn it was! We had visitors from far away and it was again fun. We sold everything from heaven to earth. Very old utility items, good to have things for the summer house, interior in French country style, retro .. yes really everything possible! It was said that coming to us was a bit like a museum.. The things evoked emotions because they reminded one of one's childhood. We had many nostalgic conversations about things you remember from the past.. many things we twisted and turned to understand what they were used for.. This is where I come from. A lively shop with a lot of life, you talk and laugh, feel together about things you remember. It was like coming home to us, because yes, mother lived there, but also because it was a small personal shop. We got to know our customers and you often stopped by if just for a chat. You old customers from the past are therefore so missed. Missing those moments. Yes, mother does too, you know!

Soon I will open again in Hedefor's mill in Lerum. We are aiming for May 1! A shop that is a little different from the outhouse in Sikhall, but I want to keep the feeling. You should feel at home. I will make coffee. You can hang in there. That's how I'm used to it.. Looking forward so much to meeting. Have a nice day!
